(1) Coffee on your Corner with Streets & Drainage departments on February 20 at 10:30 am, Community Commitment Education Center, 8540 Spruce.
There is a registration link below.
(2) Neutral Ground Coffee House has purchased a church at 9000-9004 wanting to open a coffee house.
There is a community meeting on Wednesday, February 12, at 6:30 pm at the church 9004 Hickory.
(3) NO Public Schools Interim Superintendent will be speaking at The Leah Chase School on Tuesday, 2/11 at 6:00 pm.

Go to learn what’s included in the application: type of music, acoustic or level of amplification, time parameters, etc. We all love outdoor music, AND this has the potential to have major impact on neighbors.

The Uptown Triangle Neighborhood Association will be hosting a “fireside chat” panel discussion on the ever-rising costs of homeowner’s insurance rates in New Orleans. Where high utility rates, interest rates and housing prices were already making it very difficult to afford living in New Orleans; the extraordinary jump in homeowner’s insurance rates have pushed new and existing homeowners to a financial breaking point. Something must be done to restore affordability to our city of meager means, or the people who make New Orleans the special place that it is will no longer be able to afford to live here.

Senator Cameron Henry, Jr., Dist. 9
Senator Royce Duplessis, Dist. 5
Please bring your ideas, questions, and proposed solutions to help make this a robust and productive conversation. Questions will be submitted in written form to be asked of the panel by the moderator. You may submit your comments and questions prior to the meeting by e-mailing president@uptowntriangle.com. This discussion will be about finding real solutions to a real problem we all face. This is not a forum for politicking or partisanship.
