Carrollton Area Network City Council Candidate Schedule & Survey Results
Carrollton Area Network (CAN) City Council District A Candidate Forum
Good evening Carrollton Neighbors,
Instead of hosting a CRNA meeting this month, we chose to co-sponsor a City Council District A Candidate Forum with our sister Carrollton area organizations in order to offer an opportunity for you to engage with the candidates running for the City Council seat.
Now, I would like to ask for your participation to ensure the topics discussed are the highest priority for our neighbors. Listed below is a link to a survey in which each organization is asking their members to share their ratings of key subjects as well as submission of questions we will share with the candidates, many of which will be used in the Forum. We encourage the candidates to respond to as many questions as possible, whether in the meeting or afterwards in their respective communication platforms.
Please respond by Monday, January 20th in order for our moderator to compile the top 3 subjects YOU rated and to build of bank of questions for the event.

City Council Voter Forum
Pop-up City Council Voter Forum
The Pop-up Voter Forums, hosted by the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center, will give voters a chance to hear from New Orleans City Council candidates on plans to improve our City’s neighborhoods.
Candidates will weigh in on their plans to preserve homeownership and improve the quality of rental housing, as well as answer questions from the audience.
The information for the forum is as follows:
DISTRICT A
o When: January 28, 5:30-7:00pm
o Where: Nix Public Library, 1401 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118
All District residents are welcome to come and ask questions of the candidates.
