Lock your car

Did you know that officers from the Second police District have
investigated approximately 120 auto burglaries over the past three
(3) months?

In over 80 of those incidents vehicles were not secured,
allowing perpetrators access to guns, cash and laptop computers. For
your protection you should always secure your property in the trunk of
your vehicle and lock all doors.

Remember to report any suspicious persons or activities you see in
your neighborhood by calling 821-2222. In an emergency, call 911
immediately.

Place: Palmer Park, at last Saturday’s Arts Market. It was also the Return of the Streetcar Celebration, which is why hizonor was there.
