Reminder from Stephen Mosgrove: Community Office Hours (COH) by the Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) continue (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 10:30 am to 5 pm at the Mid-City Library, 4140 Canal St.).

This iteration of COH is by appointment only, to provide some extra COVID 19 protective protocols for library staff and citizens.

So, feel free to make an appointment with me, as the need arises, by connecting to nola.gov/COH; or please call (504) 658-4933.  I very much look forward to appointments any day.

Vaccine Distribution, Week of 1 Feb 2021

City of New Orleans Vaccine Distribution, Week of Feb. 1

The New Orleans Health Department will be providing approximately 200 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to seniors age 70 or older on Friday and Saturday this week at the Central City Senior Center by appointment only. To make an appointment, please call 311 or go to ready.nola.gov/getvaccine. Residents will need to be able to arrange their own transportation or schedule RTA paratransit if needed by calling 504-827-7433. The second dose appointment will be scheduled upon receipt of first dose. Once appointments slots are filled, residents can still register and be added to a wait list, from which they will be notified if additional appointments become available due to cancellations or extra doses from vials.

Other Vaccine Providers Each week, the Louisiana Department of Health sends vaccine to multiple providers, including clinics and pharmacies in Orleans Parish. For a list of those providers and how to make an appointment with them, please visit https://ldh.la.gov/covidvaccine-locations/.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
