From Dist 98 Rep. Aimee Freeman, via Twitter: Governor Edwards signed HB7 into law as Act 449. Starting July 1, 2022, Louisiana will no longer have a sales tax on child and adult diapers and menstrual products. Thank you to the advocates who helped end the Pink Tax.

Sorry, but after consulting the weather deities, we’ve decided to reschedule the 6/27 picnic. The weather and common sense have won. As soon as we pick a date in September, we’ll announce it.
